The battery on a 67 is not easily accessed. Three are six T6 screws to remove. This German site has some photos:
Garmin GPSMAP 66sr vs GPSMAP 67 Battery
English translation by Google:

Conclusion: Exactly the same battery is installed in both models
Various rumors are circulating on the internet that the GPSMAP 67 has a different battery than the 66sr.

The battery life of the 67 is significantly longer than the 66sr. This is mainly due to the other components, which now consume less power, and the software's default settings. In the 67 model, for example, a new GPS chip is installed, which works much more energy-efficiently. On the circuit board you can also see that the layout has changed. Unfortunately, no details can be found.

I'm sorry but what are you on about "If I remove the battery while it is plugged into a powerbank "?

Remove what battery? Why would you want to remove the sealed battery. I don't really get what you're trying to achieve.
