Is there a better way to delete 100+ tracks off the GPSr other than tediously one-by-one from the keypad & menus?
If I delete them using BaseCamp, they just come back next time it syncs with the GPSr.
(Forgive me if this has been asked before, but when I tried searching the forum for "delete tracks", it told me those words were too common. I did check the FAQs.)

Re: Deleting tracks from GPSMAP 66st
I have always just connected my Garmin GPSr to my computer and navigated to the [GPSr:]/Garmin/GPX/ and [GPSr:]/Garmin/Activities/ directories and moved the unwanted *.GPX and *.FIT files to my HDD for future inspection before deleting permanently.
BTW, are you using BaseCamp on a MAC?
Edit to add:
Tracks that are 'Archived' on your Garmin GPSr will be located in the [GPSr:]/Garmin/GPX/Archive directory.

Re: Deleting tracks from GPSMAP 66st
thankyou - that works a treat (certainly makes syncing to BaseCamp much quicker once you delete all those old tracks (after archiving them of course).
I am using BaseCamp on the PC.
