TranslationSeveral users who have updated to Garmin Express (Mac) 7.20.0.0 (myself included) are experiencing an issue where for some Garmin devices, Express will keep stuck in checking for updates, as evidenced by a checking for update message and a spinner that keeps on spinning. This issue is being investigated by Garmin, but no fix has been released yet. See this thread on the Garmin Forums.
If you did upgrade and you encounter this issue, the workaround is to do a full uninstall Express and then reinstall 7.20.0.0. Instructions for a complete uninstall can be found in Garmin Support article Full Uninstall of Garmin Express. Follow the steps for "Mac OS X" as listed in that article. After a full install you will need to add your Garmin devices to Express, so beware if you have many Garmin devices.
