Can anyone explain to me, why the light is turning on, when the keypad is locked, if i press any key.
I think, if keypad is locked, there should not turn on light, if i press any key.

With keys/buttons locked, the intention is to prevent accidental menu selections, etc. When you want to resume normal operation, you must unlock the keys/buttons by pressing the Power button again. The first time you press any other button, the unit alerts the user with a message that the keys have been locked. This message may not be readable without back lighting, thus the illumination.

Yes, i know the circumstances - but the light will drain the battery.
Maybe it would be better to use therefor only 10% light and not the usersetting.
Keypad locked unit in pocket might drain the battery.
