I get new Firmware 6.30 in Garmin Express. Install it on Device then restart the device and i get again on screen would you like to install new firmaware + screen freeze, and thats it...
Please for help

'Screen Freeze' - Do you mean the touchscreen does not respond? Or is the device totally unresponsive? Does it respond to pressing the power button?

yes touchscreen does not respond, the power button respond, pressing it restart the device, but then the same happens

I was afraid of that.

You will have to contact Garmin, and they will most likely have to replace the device.

If you have important data on the Montana you need to retrieve before replacement, you can still enter Forced USB Mass Storage Mode to move that data to a safe location until the replacement unit arrives.

I installed firmware update 6.30 on my 700i

I had no problems installing the software, and the 700i smoothly rebooted running firmware 6.30.

It appears Garmin may soon have available a software solution to recover these devices without requiring replacement.

Garmin have provided a Solution for users with inoperative Montana 7x0 Touchscreen Displays following a failed Firmware 6.30 Update.

Just to let you know:

6.30 went smoothly on my 750i (by using my Macbook loading the update.gcd to \GARMIN\). No need to refirmware it with 6.40 BETA

Did you use the GCD or RGN update method?
