I always find it humorous when 'MapSource users' complain that other programs do not work just like MapSource does.... Which would be silly, because then they would just be MapSource copies... And that is not why the other software titles were developed.
BaseCamp does not require more than a few hours over a weekend to learn the basics well enough to start using it instead of MapSource. You just have to be willing to apply yourself and STOP using MapSource. You will be surprised how quickly BaseCamp becomes second nature.
GSAK is many magnitudes more powerful than either MapSource or BaseCamp when it comes to Geocache management. I have been using GSAK for many many years. And I am still only a novice. GSAK can do so much....
