Read GC device local log comments, FW 3.40

Hi all,
I am on a long vacation in the moment without frequent Internet Access .. which is good
Well I did some paperless geocaching with the app and wrote a comment to some finds when marking a geocache as ‚found‘.
This is fine so far. I do not want to upload this from my Garmin.

In the calendar app I can see how much activities and searched geocaches I had this day.
Unfortunately I can’t find a way to have a look into the comment Which I wrote to the in the calendar listed geocache.
It would be nice to read my local remark somewhere ? Is there a way to do it on my Garmin device ?

Any hint is appreciated

This feature has been requested in the past (GPSMAP 66 Feature Request #6), but Garmin have not implemented.

Currently, the only way to view comments or notes made for each geocache is by opening the 'geocache_visits.txt' file found in the Garmin directory on the GPSr while connected to a host computer. Be very careful not to edit this document in any way, or it may fail to keep future comments.
