Expedition Mode Power-Off Timeout

Unread post by robert »

Currently the Expedition Mode will run forever if the unit is accidentally left in this mode. On a long trek sometimes it can be easy to forget to turn the unit off completely at the end of the day.

In my previous GPS device by Satmap it was possible to configure a timeout so the unit would power off completely if the user interface had not been used for a configurable amount of time.

Could a time range to set within the Expedition Mode settings? A time range of 1hr, 2hr, 4hr, 8hrs, 24hrs, Never would be a very useful feature to have to ensure that batteries do not round down in error.

I'd appreciate other users feedback and input?
