GPSMAP 66 GPS Software 2.70

Change log is not yet published, however a new GPS Software version 2.70 is available for installation on your GPSMAP 66 units via Garmin Express as of 04JUN19.

Why would they do that unless reversing a change that didn’t work out?
Even then, it should be 2.95 or something because I doubt they removed every change for 2.90.

The previous version was 2.60.

Doh! Got device software mixed up with the GPS module software.

Just tried it with Garmin Express, but no update showed up. Info says I am still on GPS Software-Version 2.50.

Although I have the latest version (6.14.2.0) Garmin Express indicates I'm up to date, yet I'm also at GPS Software version 2.50.

Same for me. Wonder why mine has not updated to 2.60 at least?

Ditto - Vs.2.60 and Garmin Express says I'm up to date.
