Re: Montana 680 notting connect with garmin express

The files you ask for are written by the GPSr every time it boots. You do not need to add them.

Leave the BIN files alone.

Clearly, you can see some files on the device... How about a screen shot of the directories and files?

If you can see the device in Explorer when connected to your computer, but no files are present, something has gone very wrong. Does the GPSr function properly when disconnected?

Re: Another Feature Request?

It has been 4 months now since the last firmware release, so one could expect another release very soon. However, we will only know what has changed after we install and test it!

Re: Any NiMH battery can be charged

We are also aware that many users cut a section of the blister pack that most microSD cards are sold in for this purpose. Very thin and durable, this material will conform to the shape of the batteries and hold this button in.

Of course, in so doing, each of us assumes all risks involved.

Re: Showing the arrow on the Compass

The 'Bearing' indicator only appears when actively navigating. It does not point North, it points toward the destination.

Re: GPSMAP 64x, 64sx Firmware Update 2.30

The GPSr should have prompted you that a new update was available when powering the unit on and allowed you to decide if you wanted to install it now or later.

Do you not remember seeing that screen?

Re: Topo Active maps update

I would strongly urge you to not delete anything you didn't put there! There are several maps that are part of the TopoActive setup. You need them all!
